Okay, here 'tis!

A note:  if I couldn't find exactly what you requested, I tried at least to find something by the same artist -- and I limited myself to English this time around.

An aside:  in 1986 I made my first trip to London, where I went to see a show that had just arrived in the West End, "Les Miserables", and where I went mad trying to find tickets for the show that was more popular that summer, "Chess" with Murray Head and Elaine Paige.  It was a terrific musical, and one that merits more than just to be remembered for "One Night in Bangkok", but there we are.

friday mix-tape 25/04/08

Okay, so just because I have nothing better to do today (heavy sarcasm alert), I decided to play around with this nifty thing that I found chez Bob:

So here's the thing:  leave a song in the comments, and if I can find it on the Mixwit widget thingee site, I'll start with it next week and build another mix-tape around it. If more than one person actually leaves a song, I'll weave them all together.  If no one leaves a song, well, you're likely to get a whole mix-tape of hindi music, if it exists there.

You've been warned.  In fact, I may just go play around over there and see what I can turn up.  Just remember, you can prevent this by leaving a song in the comments.  It's in your hands.

(And you can make a selection in any language you like.  English is good, too, though you risk me heading back into the oldies section, since I don't listen to much modern stuff in my native tongue.)

And now, since my face is frozen (Friday nerve blocks, fun-wow), I'm going to go stick some yarn and patterns in baggies so they're ready for tomorrow.  Anyone planning on going to the DKC Frolic tomorrow in Toronto, stop by Karen's Shall We Knit booth to say hello and see just how freaked I am this week.
